Its actually not a generalization its a known fact that Philly fans are a bunch of asses:
1. They booed and threw snow balls at santa... in 1960, and it was a drunk guy from the stands in a half-santa suit
2. They booed Donovan McNabb before he played a game...well, 15 drunken louts did, hardly representative of a city
3. They booed their own hometown Kobe Bryant at an all star game...because he said he wanted to cut the Sixers heart out, and he's not from Philly anyway.
4. laughing as Michael Irvin had a career ending injury in 1999...we were laughing at Deion Sanders dancing around and pointing at the sky and himself and at Irvin like he was gonna cure him, pls show how everyone supposedly 'knew' that was a career ending injury, what a stupid thing to say.
5. Reports of spitting on Panther fans in NFC Championship game....I've personally seen Mets and Yanks fans spit on opposing fans many, many times. Pretending PHL fans are only ones [no excuse] is stupid.

If more examples are needed, I could be here all night.
