I live in a dorm at NYU. I hooked up a wireless router. I have a desktop connected to it and use my laptop w/a wireless card.

For some reason my desktop runs fine but the internet runs really slow. I have adaware and norton and scanned them both. Any suggestions?

Oh - the laptop works fine with the wireless.
