Default Re: TL;DR Nerdy Questions...

FYI: Yoda's Tree, The Dark Cave and sometimes inanimate objects can be divergences in the Force. Darth Vader and General Grievous are largely electronic, but are still Force-Sensitive. (One drawback to this is limited use of the Force, e.g. Vader cannot use Force Lightning.)

I don't know about Yoda's tree. What's special about it? The Dark Cave, there was some sith who died there, right? Leaving a pocket of dark-sideness residue? Somebody told me that's why Yoda went to Dagobah when the jedi fell, because nobody could detect his light-side force from orbit since it was being canceled by the dark-side force left in the cave. Or some [censored].

About Vader and Grievous, even if they were more machine than man (twisted and evil), they still had people parts inside, right? If they get weaker and weaker wrt the force as they loose meat, that only encourages the idea that robots can't use the force.

Does Luke's robotic hand explain why the fight scenes in VI are so much slower than in I-III?

Other points reference the R4 exploding when Luke's uncle was droid shopping

That droid had a bad motivator. LDO

and R2's luck never to get shot in crossfire...is he is the luckiest droid ever?

[/ QUOTE ]
He's being shot at by storm troopers. Those masks block all their peripheral vision; those guys can't hit the broad side of a moisture vaporator.
