Take a good look if he is keeps cards in his palm, or peaks at cards. Next time after the break, tell everybody you saw a broken card in the deck and request to check the deck, and take it out of his hands while he`s dealing, count the cards, etc.

I have never ever cheated in poker games, however I knew how to prepare the deck pretty good in another card game I used to play for money in my fathers pool hall when I was a kid. I learned it not to get cheated by other players there. You wouldn`t imagine all the tricks they can pull at you.
