I took the latter route because I hate MTT and they're a crazy time sink. Sold 5M play chips for $50 (can you believe people buy these things??) and jumped into 10NL. The timeline seems long (started mid-June), but I only have about 1-2 hours a day to play and playing more than 6 tables makes my ADHD go a bit wonky.
