Default Re: Choctaw, OK - poker club issues

CLIFF NOTES: I had an unpleasant experience with a cocky, rude employee. I had a very urgent problem, and he was no help. I asked if there was someone else I could talk to. At first he said no, but then found someone who was very helpful.

My urgent problem? It appeared that I was not getting the proper credit for the hours I logged to qualify for a freeroll tourney. The system, which uses your Players Card, is not working properly; has not worked properly since Day One; and will probably be the source of countless problems on the day of the freeroll.

OP, if you're going to type a post that long, do us all a favor and include a brief summary for those of us with shorter attention spans. I know one of my faults is my inability to post concisely, but you took that to a new level here.

Also, I've never seen a casino hosting a freeroll tell a player who had obviously played plenty of hours to qualify, "Nope, sorry, the computer says you didn't, so that must be the case." Instead, you're much more likely to run into, "It says you only have about five hours logged, but I know that can't be close to correct, as I've seen you in here lots of times in the last few weeks. I know you're a man who's not always taking shots, and trying to get things to which you are not entitled, so don't worry, you're in the freeroll--why not, it doesn't cost me anything to let you in!"

Then again, if you had the kid ready to toss you out of the place, you may not strike them as that kind of man after all.
