A woman who's husband is beating her can file charges and LEAVE. The dogs don't have that option. They care mistreated from birth and trained to kill other dogs. They fight until they get too injured to continue and are killed, or they die in the ring, etc. Don't even mention the dogs that some of these people STEAL from peoples yards and use them to "train" their dogs to kill.

Anyone willing to participate in something like this could also probably easily do it to people instead of dogs. Anyone that will do this is a GIANT piece of [censored] and honestly deserves a bullet in the head. That won't happen, so jail time will have to suffice.

PS. I have a strong stomach, really strong. I watched the piece on dogfighting on Bryant Gumbels HBO show and I had to change the channel for parts of it. Not sure that's ever happened to me on a show before. They also had a person who's dog was kidnapped from his yard and used as a bait dog by a dog-fighting operation. The rage I felt was unimaginable. Whatever he gets is not enough.
