Default Re: Chess Players: comments on this chess game?

1. d2-d4 d7-d5
2. c2-c4 g8-f6
Somewhat rare in this position but playable.
3. e2-e3 c8-g4 ---> First mistake I think; pointless move.
Agreed
4. f2-f3 g4-e6
5. b1-c3 c7-c6
He should play 5.c4xd5 followed by e3-e4. When he doesn't do this, you should take the pawn.
6. e3-e4 d8-a5 ---> This doesn't seem like a good move.
Again take on c4.
7. c1-d2 b7-b5 ---> I guess to free up space? I dunno.
Very bad, you shouldn't allow him to win a pawn this way. You should see danger when he indirectly aims at your queen like this with c1-d2. It's still not too late to take on c4.
8. c3xd5 a5-a6 ---> That stupid Q move starting to bite me.
oops
9. d5-c7+ e8-d8---> Good move by him. I'm screwed.
10. c7xa6 b8xa6---> Normally would just give up, but $20 on the line lol
11. d2-g5 h7-h6--->Is this bad since I shouldn't be trading pieces since I'm down a Queen?
The game is just over with any decent play by white. I know he wants to trade down to an endgame since he is up a queen, but your king is stuck in the center, your pieces are developed on bad squares, and you're just going to get wrecked. He should have played d4-d5 or d2-a5+ and then d4-d5.
12. g5xf6 g7xf6--->
13. c4xb5 c6xb5
14. f1xb5 e6-c8
15. b5xa6 c8xa6---> At the time my opponent asked if i was trying to lose since we were just trading pieces, but I didn't really see any other options.
16. g1-e2 a8-c8
17. o-o h8-g8
18. a1-c1 e7-e6--->I guess this freed up the f8-a3 diag
19. c1xc8+ a6xc8
20. d1-c2 f8-d6
21. g2-g3 d8-e7
22. f1-c1 e7-d7---> Not sure why I did that
23. e4-e5 f6xe5
24. c2-h7 g8-f8
25. h7xh6 c8-a6
Now he's chasing pawns when he should just go after your king.
26. h6xf8 d6xf8--->Wow, can't believe he missed that. I'm back in it now.
Huge blunder, he might have been looking at d4xe5 and if d6xe5 h6xf8, and accidentally played the second move of the variation first.
27. e2-c3 f8-h6
28. c1-d1 h6-e3+
29. g1-g2 e5xd4
30. c3-e4 a6-e2
31. d1-e1 e2-c4
32. b2-b3 c4-d5
33. e4-f6+ d7-e7
34. f6xd5+ e6xd5
35. a2-a4 e7-d6
36. h2-h3 e3-d2
37. e1-d1 d2-c3
38. g3-g4 d6-c5
39. h3-h4 c5-b4
40. d1-b1 d4-d3
41. g2-g3 d3-d2
42. f3-f4 c3-b2---> Key move. Was hoping to trick him into taking my bishop, which would guarantee I get my pawn queened.
43. g4-g5 b2-c1--->Yesss. He didn't take my bishop, but now I'm guaranteed to get my pawn queened and keep my bishop or lose the bishop but take his rook.
he is still winning if he just plays 43.g3-f3 followed by f3-e2 etc.
44. g3-g4 d2-d1+---> Yay fork or whatever you call it.
45. g4-f5 d1-c2+
46. f5-e5 c2xb1
47. e5xd5 c1xf4
48. d5-d4 --->This is where he gave up.

On a side note, if betting on chess, does black get odds? In this game my friend (a 2p2er actually) said that black should get 5:4 odds.
