Id'like to ask you, guys, question - about how you consider shoving on flop with overpair. I have examples in my hand history, where my shoved overpair is called and face smth like AK unimproved, or TPTK, or lower overpair - but i allso have examples, where i am against two pair or set. Assume, there is no draws on board - in general - overpair in any time can be beaten with two pair and set. David Sklansky wrote, that it "is a mistake - going too far with too weak hands" - according to this - overpair can be beaten at any time.
What is your general line here - playing overpair, if we are called/check-raised/reraised on flop? Evaluating villain AF/went to SD/PFR/Cal preflop-raise? Call and evaluate on turn(so what if blank came)? Or may be it is better to check behind on flop and keep the bank small?
Speaking general - if villain knows, that i will push with overpair - that may be easy to exploit - calling my PFR with ANY pair, flopping SET and calling my push.
