Re: I have no social skills, am incredibly boring, and want to end it

I mean I guess this has been a long term problem, but has specifically flared up this weekend, with the girl I'm seeing. For the first 36 hours we were together it was great. We talked about her law school orientation, about my quitting my job, how the LSATs were coming, but eventually it just got flat, and we couldn't talk about anything. We went out to a bar, and I just had nothing new to add, besides what was on the TV there. It's just frustrating

Hmmm this happens to me after 36 minutes. I consider myself pretty good at conversation, and you approximately 83.07x the conversationalist I am!
Seriously, it is perfectly normal to run out of things to say. Or to have non-ideal moments. What sucks is your anxiety or depression about it. Try to enjoy where you are RIGHT NOW and don't worry or feel bad or whatever it is you are feeling. Try to make a conscious effort not to think negative thoughts because they build up. Positive thoughts also tend to build on themselves, it gets easier the more you do it. Life is so fun, and there's so much out there, I don't know why you are getting hung up on this stuff.
I wish I could help you. Good luck.
