Of course, the same logic explains the Osgood/Dryden career wins stats. And the fact that Bobby Orr ranks 9th in career points by a defenseman. In fact, 10 more points by Scott Stevens and 20 more by Brad Park and Orr wouldn't be in the top 10.

Also, I made a calculator slip on Mario's goals per game. It should be 0.754 (690 goals/915 games).

A little NHL hockey trivia I found:

As of the end of the 2006-7 season, based on country of birth, Olaf Kolzig is the only player in NHL history to lead his country in career NHL points (13 assists) and goaltender wins (276) for South Africa. Kolzig is also the All-time career assist leader for an African born player, barely losing out in total points to Chris Nielsen from Tanzania who scored 6 goals and 8 assists in 54 NHL games.
