The bigger raise doesn't work with this stack size. The difficult thing with this hand is that you do not really have enough chips to see the hand through to begin with - and definitely not when you get two callers. Raising more doesn't change this. The size of the raise doesn't have much of an effect on FE in this situation - if they'll fold for 3.5 they'll fold for 2.5.
If you meant 3 to 5 and not 3.5, and you're actually considering raising 5x here, you might as well push preflop instead and maximise FE whilst negating the problems of playing JJ post-flop with a small stack.
If you only raise smaller than 3x with AA/KK, you're going to become pretty transparent to your more observant opponents. It's horribly obvious when someone does this.
