this, obv, is an easier way to make a living playing poker.

if someone lives in their parents basement and plays for a living, their hard weeks, months etc won't be as tough because they don't have to pay rent, utilities whatever.

i think most of the going pro articles (ed miller's) that say you should be single when it comes to playing on your own means that you should be the only one relying on your poker income. if you wife is making a nice salary that can support your family and your poker is just something that sort of "extra", then you have the best benefits of anyone that plays for a living.
