OP, you show a very strong misunderstanding of the game, as much as we all bitch about people hit and running, and doing what grimstarr does, etc. they are all within the rules of the game and fair. Every hand you are dealt is a separate "game." You are never required to be dealt another hand. You sound like you made a risky play (i don't know [censored] about HU PLO so it may just be risky in your mind, or it may be standard) but shouldn't you be rewarded for your play? Anyone who plays higher stakes is used to low stakes players taking degenerate shots with their bankrolls, hell, a large percentage of the incoming money into higher stakes comes from this. As part of that system, hit and runs happen all the time. 10/20 PLO isn't exactly a huge game, I'm sure when he sat down to play you, he didn't think you were some reg who was going to give him a ton of HU action. By sitting down to play an unknown in this game HU, he was accepting the possibility of a hit and run. In the future, you really need to realize that you NEVER owe anyone anything in this game. As several other people have said if you don't realize this you will never succeed at poker.
