I think it is fun having people playing by their real names with pictures of them. I play the highest stakes razz games that run regularly and often Berry Johnston, Huck Seed or some other long-time pro will be playing.

I don't know what FT pays these people and it is possible some of them are overpaid, but that is FT's business. These pros people haven't heard of certainly don't get anywhere near what Ivey gets to be a FT name pro.

A lot of the players in that list of 16 are pretty weak. I think some of the FT pros may play full time because of FT sponsorship, because they made a big score in a major tournament, or because they are independently wealthy.

I don't mean to pick on Karina Jett, but I think she may be more of a housewife than a professional poker player. I mean how do you keep winding up in last place early on in a limit HORSE tournament.

I posted something before and got flamed for it some about how I got this tshirt with a donkey with boxing gloves saying I knocked out a Full Tilt pro. Now I don't want to seem arogant, but I don't think Phil Gordon is a better tournament player than I am. However, it was kind of fun getting the bounty and shirt, and it probably is more so for casual players.
