She can whine and complain all she wants about us calling her "crazy", but her (self-reported) behaviour on the plane cannot be described anything *but* crazy.

First of all, Elaine did not ruin Edward’s relationship with Mason. Mason ruined Edward’s relationship with Mason. The problems between Elaine and Mason were/are just a small part of the matter. Thus, the answer to your question is zero. Your guess is 100% wrong. In fact, Edward remains close friends with a large number of people from his school and college days. Elaine has had no negative impact on his relationships with his friends of many years standing.
