I think their strategy revolves around creating an environment where fans feel like they are interacting with pros on a regular basis. I'd guess that if even a few people who know of Chui or Toto from tv gets the chance to chat with them or observe them on the site that FTP considers that a marketing victory.

That's one world class player and two "excellent" players out of 16.

McManus is definately an amateur who wrote a book. All of the female players are fairly weak.

I play this level of MTTs quite a bit, and know who the regulars are. I would be more concerned about one of those than most of these Full Tilt pros.

Maybe these "names" impress casual players more than they do people on this board.
