This reminded me of a story I have not told in awhile. There were two other players at the table that still to this day give me a hard time about this hand (after 13 years!)
Back in 1993 the largest ever poker jackpot went up at Fort McDowell outside of Phoenix. They started it at $150,000, when that got hit it went to $100,000, then $75,000, $50,000 etc.
I was playing shortly after it started out ($150,000) when the following hand took place:
Preflop: All fold and I raise on the button, SB and BB call.
Flop: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB bets, I call, SB check raises, BB calls, I call.
Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB bets, I raise, SB reraises, BB calls, I cap it, both call. (3 raises max)
River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB bets, BB raises, I call, SB reraises, BB caps it, I call, SB calls.
Hands shown:
Me: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

No quite as bad.
At least if it was live the OP could have beat the living [censored] out of the dealer until he was a gooey pile of blood and bone fragments on the casino's brand new carpeting.
