Default Re: Dear Bison: March 2006

Dear Bison,
My younger brother is a screw up. He was booted out of college last year for grades, and when he came home he was many thousands in debt on credit cards (not to mention student loans). He didn't tell us this and gave the crdit card company his bank account number which was empty (and he knew it). More charges, he borrowed 200$ from me that he western unioned them to avoid collections, assuring me that he was 1 owed a paycheck by his last job and 2 that he owed less tha 1,000 total. Long story short the totall amount he owes only comes out after threatening letters start arriving at my parents house.
He currently has been working 2 part time minimum wage jobs and living with my other brother for free "attempting" to pay down his debt. The stipulation was that he had to give my older brother all his paychecks- and he would send the credit card payments in to make sure it happened. Apparently a few of these paychecks didn't make it to my older brother and he suddenly started hanging out at my house to avoid the arguments (i didn't know this at first). Then last week he borrwoed mmy car and cracked the bumper on the side of my house while reversing. The first words out of his mouth were "i didn't hit anything".
Basically his first thought in any bad situation is to lie, and put off any problems as long as he can. My older brother and i are tired of it (and my parents have said no more) so hes going to be out of a place to live in a few months, but still hasnt' shown any ability to take responsibility for anything.
Ok, so its not exactly a question, but any advice is appreciated
