Aside from Selig's non-response, my favorite part of the show was actually a commercial between innings. Basically, it was about how bad steroids are for your body long term, and it had a bunch of footballs, basketballs and such deflating. Then it ended with a line that said "if all those aren't bad enough, maybe this is" before the last one deflated or something like that. Nothing like reminding kids that steroids are going to shrink your balls at the same rate that your hat size explodes.

All of Barry's teammates seemed SO happy that he hit 755 tonight. Its almost like they just were going through the motions. That, and his effing kid was at home plate when he got there, and Barry decided to carry him halfway back to the dugout. I hope they just plunk him or walk him the rest of the season...that said, either way, we're about to witness history, so I'll just hope he plays tomorrow (yeah, right) and hits it on the road. That'll be a much better show than the phony love-fest in SF. Padres fans booing and holding up asterisk signs, good times.
