Re: who is the best NL hold\'em player?

Right, Phil Galfond... Galfond has posted on this site about how he is so much better than Hellmuth too.
WSOP CASHES 2007,2006:
Hellmuth 2007: 1st, 6th, 25th, 31st, 95th, 104th
Galfond 2007: 18th, 76th
Hellmuth 2006: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 13th, 44th, 44th, 67th
Galfond 2006: 22nd, 31st
I see a trend of overconfident young internet players SAYING they are THE BEST, but not actually WINNING enough live to back that claim up.

To be fair, if you could clarify, how many WSOP tournies did Hellmuth play compared to Galfond this past year?
Hellmuth probably is better in tournaments than Galfond, because of his experience. Hellmuth's understanding of tournament play and understanding of the general calibre of players (i.e. weak) at tournaments is prob. better.
But I think it's obvious that Galfond would destroy Hellmuth in NL Cash, and that it is way way easier for Galfond to become as good in Hellmuth in tournies than for the other way around.
