Actually, the story is that he took steroids, otherwise more than two paragraphs would be spent on his testimony.

Anyway, does the come as a shock to anyone? Of course not. Is it a problem? Of course it is. Should we villify Bonds? Eh, probably not. This isn't really about Bonds, imo, but about the steroid problem in general, and about what happens when you have ultra-competitive people who will do anything to gain an edge. If the problem is as elevated today as it was fifty years ago, who do you think would be using?
