I just found this thread, and wanted to contribute a good one (I loved baseball in the 80s), but I swear the first 8-9 obscure players with memorable names that came to mind have already been posted- Wockenfuss, Biancalana, Lombardozzi, etc. all taken- unbelievable (even Moose Haas, who was the last card I needed when I collected the whole 1984 set just by buying packs). Oh well. I guess I'll go with U.L. Washington. Loved the toothpick.
