That place is definitely Mermaids. I went there in March when I hit Vegas. Bought a football-sized drink and that sat down at Binions 1-2 game. In an hour, I was up $300.

First hand pocket aces. I raised, grouchy old man calls. Flop hits an ace. I lead the whole way and he just keeps calling. NO flush, no straight and on the river he pushed all-in. He has a-6, case ace one the flop. I win.

Second hand, i limp in with q-10. flop two pair. Bet the whole while sipping on my frozen drink and acting goofy. Get paid off the whole way. The guy who pays me off says to the man next to him, "I saw these tourists. I thought this was going to be fun."

Drunkingly, I couldn't help myself: "Fun for me!" and laughed.

I like Mermaids.
