Whoa.

If it makes you feel any better I can relate to one part of this story, the part about knowing one half of your ancestry/genes etc.

My mom was adopted and nobody ever knew who her real parents were, one of those baby on the doorstep deals. I didn't find this out until I was 20, and I had heard all sorts of bizarre [censored] from my mom's side, like, "Wow you have your uncle Joe's eyes, or you Aunt Frida's nose!"

I was like, "Damn mother [censored], that's one hell of a coincidence!"

So yeah, I can empathize with that part.
