For those of you who have not yet read "The Game" by Neil Strauss, I suggest you do so. It's highly entertaining and it covers a lot of ground on how pick up artists work to meet women, or to be more accurate beautiful women.

Secondly, Mystery's dress approach works. He is not dressing up to attract men. He's dressing up to attract women. The key word is attract here. Women are attracted to mysterious and illogical things. They are illogical creatures (well at least to the men anyways.) I didn't quite believe this myself, but about a year ago when I went to a local high end bar with a friend of mine. He wore two different colored shoes. They were very nice dress shoes except one was white and the other one was red. The women at the lounge couldn't stop noticing it. They were "attracted" to it which is the first thing that a man needs a woman to do in order to engage in the pick up process.

Mystery also has a book out called "The Mystery Method - The Venusian Arts Handbook."

Here is the opening quote, "If you can't attract a woman, you are, by dictionary definition, sterile."

The opening forward, "Nature will unapologetically weed your genes out of existence if you don't take action and learn how to attract women now."

Here's another quote on the dressing part, or more so commonly known from his book as peacocking.

"Peacocking is the use of attention-getting clothes to amplify your response in the field. If you are peacocked, girls will look at you more often and guys will make sniggering comments. This means that there will be more social pressure on you that you would normally experience.

It is a demonstration of higher value when people perceive that you are accustomed to this social pressure and otherwise unaffected by it.... "

His seminars and field work, along with those of his devotees from past and present, range anywhere from $500-$2000 US. They have been proven to be highly successful.

From beginning to end, this is so unbelievably pathetic.

So you are telling me that if you could attend a weekly seminar for $1k and then use the methods learned to get yourself laid by gorgeous women that it's unbelievably pathetic?

Are you a eunuch or something?

[/ QUOTE ]
So people who don't feel like they need to pay some douche to teach them how to meet women are eunuchs? My first inclination would have been, "Are you able to meet women without dressing like a backup dancer for Jamiroquai or something?"

EDIT: And my "pathetic" statement was meant more to address Mystery's theories on manhood and sterility than the people who actually pay to swallow this [censored]. It's like a 70/30 split of patheticness.
