I've actually met Mystery and I don't particularly endorse him, and I'm not quite sure about the whole pickup thing. But what I can say is that Mystery is probably the opposite of the "player" image, degrading women, the whole nine yards. He really, truely, just appreciates and loves women. It is all he cares about. To an unhealthy level I'd say. And the ridiculous clothing is to prove to the hundreds and thousands of his students that consistantly give him reasons of looks for why they can't meet women. I'm too fat, I'm too skinny, I dont have cool clothes etc. He dresses ridiculous and still gets the girl. I hope the show is good for him, because despite what he has started hes actually a good person.
