Yeah, I don't think there's any prayer the tip pool get to 5%. Call me tight, but if I win $250k I don't think I'll be tipping $12.5k.

The irony is, the bigger the payout the lower the tip % will be. When I win $370 and tip $20 that's over 5%. In fact, it's about 9% of my winnings after buy in. I've won the Tues/Wed tourny twice and each time I ask Dave on the side what the proper tip size is. One, with no chop (believe it or not) I tipped $150. One we chopped to $3k each and I tipped $100. I understand that's only about 3%. But then I always throw Dave $20 or $50.

But I just can't see tipping $12k.
