Heh, just skimmed back through that, man there was a lot of ghey hate in that thread, including from me, but hey at least DaveR and I emerged from it getting along.
I found the flash point:
here. RJ made an innocuous response to that post (people thought it was a smartass one, I have no clue why) and it just spiraled out of control from there. Remember, he would have lost the thing outright (possibly badly) if every mod on the site didn't PM him to STFU and stop posting.
I think the cascade of posts that follow from that link are Exhibit A on how RJ put me on life tilt like no other poster in any forum, ever.
Prior to that link the only thing worth reading in the thread are the Idi/Mr. Francis posts, which are hilarious.
