I think a donk often bets any turn (even turns that scare him) because he doesn't want to check and then have to call a large bet. Same reason you see donks pushing allin on turns/rivers where they will only get called by a better hand.

K turn makes calling a second barrel that much worse unless OP thinks the blind will check-fold rivers with better made hands worse than a pair of Ks.
