Do you know anyone who's gotten off by anything other than luck? Do you see movie stars getting their charges dropped? Sports figures? If they can't everytime, you think it's anything more than a lucky fluke that will get joe shlub off?

On my DUI they didn't process it for almost a year. I seriously thought it was lost in the system. But the lawyer would have had nothing to do with it. I think it's definitely worth getting a laywer to make your life easier and maybe find some technicality. But from everything I've heard, spending a lot more != much better chances of getting off.
