cash games require great post flop play, which is the opposite of sit n gos where you become so committed preflop that post flop play doesnt matter as much, most people will say that sit n gos are a completely different form of poker than cash games which is definitely true.

I was a sit n goer about 2 years ago and started playing cash games and got demolished, i think this is just the rite of passage most go through, you will improve but it takes time.

edit: also learning post flop play will be very beneficial to you once you start playing tournaments that start off at stacks high relative to the blinds, its worth learning and you will a different form of poker to play once sit n gos get boring
