Default Re: $3 Million Downsizing.............

IMO,once he started playing LIVE in the high stakes mixed game in Vegas, an arena he wasnt at all experienced at,nor banrkrolled for,his online HSNL suffered.Whether it was variance ,tilt.ego ,whatever, his jump into HS OmahaH a few months prior didnt do him any good as well

There were plenty of times Brian, went on abit of a downswing, just like everybody else, and he would say ,he was taking a break/vacation,spending some time with family, play 50k+ hands of OmahaH at lower stakes, before playing the big guns, etc.and he was right there the NEXT day multi-tabling,without missing a beat

He is a very talented NL online poker player, but his BR money manegement skills, and game selection could use some work to say the least.

I wish him the best, and as they say "do what you do best"
and to that I would say play HS online NL only sbrugby.
When and IF you can progress in other forms/stakes of poker that you can consistantly win at ,you can then move foward.

Brian without a doubt is probably the BEST on-line HSNL player in the world. He also has a very small pool of players ,being that his specialty is HU,as he wiped most of them out single handily. If the HU games were getting scarce, and he wanted to venture into other poker territories,(LIVE HS CASH,HS Omaha, etc)he should have started
off at much lower stakes to start, learn, and improve, not DIVE head first into the shallow end of the pool which he did!
He is NOT even close to being the best online Omaha player, let alone playing 1000/2000 LIVE with the best seasoned pros around.

It seems to me that his ego, tilt and obviously game selection has amplified this downswing, but he does seem plenty level headed to heed some advice"

Brian take some time off to reflect on all this and you will come back a BETTER,more wiser poker player!

Good Luck.
