I've been to Hawaii five times and I'll go there before I go back to Mexico any day of the week. Maybe I'm missing out on something, but what about Mexico makes you pick that over Hawaii?

Hawaii more or less sucks except for the big pelagics, but Mexico can def. compete and does offer fishing for some big game.

Hawaii has no terestrial wildlife. Period. Except for a few feral pigs.

Hawaii has no good Mexican food.

Hawaii's all the same. Mexico has Baja, the Caribbean, the mainland part, it's huge there's something for everyone.

Mexico has cenotes.

Mexico has pyramids.

You can drive for more than 5 minutes in Mexico without running into the [censored] ocean.

Hawaii is one of the least species diverse tropical destination. It is fauna poor and barren. If you've been to the real tropics you know what I mean.

Now don't get me wrong. Hawaii is way fun for some cushy rest and relaxation, but if you want to do stuff and see stuff Mexico wins eeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
