No. I have a macbook pro on that I installed windows with bootcamp to be able to use PT etc. I don't use it for surfing at all except a little 2p2. And the adress bar shows the color distortion effect pretty well because it's colorfull. If I used the metallic looking OS X surface, the effect would be even clearer.
