Default Re: \"Jesus\" advises Yang to stiff dealers?

[ QUOTE ]
The problem here is Yang can figure out how to win a trny with 6k+ people but he needs advice on what to do with a tip afterwards. Why was CF there in the first place. When Yangs agent asked him to be there He could and should of said Yang figured out a way to win now he can figure out what to do with your $$. Goes to show these pro poker players dont have much of a life outside of gambling. I wonder if Tiger asks Mickelson what to tip his caddy after he wins a trny. Highly doubt it.

I believe you've missed the fundamental reason this thread was started. An amateur player not being accustomed to winning a major tournament and a huge amount of money asks advice from someone who has "been there, done that". Any player who wins a major PGA golf tourney (whose prize, btw, is significantly smaller than what Yang won), they would have had to have spent considerable amount of time in the professional golf 'culture'. If, in fact, Joe Schmo, who just took up golf two years ago and plays occasionally for fun was to win the British open this weekend, I sure as hell hope he'd be smart enough to check with a seasoned pro as to what was customary tip his caddy. And, further to the point, if said pro golfer was to remind Joe Schmo that everyone who entered the tourney already dug into their wallets before it even started and put up a $1,400,000.00 tip pool for the caddies, I wonder if there would be the same indignation from the caddies.
