When I was a child, this question greatly bothered me because I figured my parents had a good chance of making it to heaven but that I would somehow mess up and not make it. I asked my parents if they would miss me and be miserable if this were the case. They explained that it really is no problem at all. God would make it so they would have absolutely no memory of me.
