1. This shows how utterly meaningless 20k hands is, despite what some will tell you. This is shorter than short-term. It is a mere instant in a poker life. You see people on these forums all the time saying they are "beating" a game over 20k hands. Lol. It is a very small sample.

2. Losing 10-12 BI's over 15k hands is totally, totally possible/standard/common. Several posters on this forum who work just as hard on their game as anyone have posted recently about considerably bigger downswings than this. If you can't handle it, then that is a problem.

3. Losing confidence is the No. 1 by-product of this kind of run. But learning how to deal with decimated confidence is as much a part of poker as knowing what to do with ATo UTG. Actually, it's more important.

4. Whether you are a winning or losing player is undecided, as is the case with most of us in uNL. Time will tell, but this current downswing is not the whole answer, only a chapter in the bigger story.

5. Re: the losing hands posted, all standard situations.
