At your scores, pick a $1 or so ball that flies far if you are a short hitter, or goes straight (Callaway HX Blue?) if you're a long hitter. A ProV1x, IMO, won't be worth the 200% premium, plus they will fly the coop.

18-20ish HC (could probably be 14-16 right now if I played more often):

I like the ProV1x and ProV1 when my irons are on fire, and I like the Callaway HX Tour 56 or HX Tour when my tee game is carrying me. I try to ride the hot hand... hopefully at any moment at least one hand is hot. I love Callaway balls, the HX Blue and Red are nice low to mid price balls. I like shag balls, and when I am cold I generally stick to them until I start grooving shots again.
