Default Re: Am I being rigged by Full Tilt Poker or is this normal variance?

[ QUOTE ]
The villain bets the flop. I called. Villain checks turn. I bet/he calls. Villain checks river. By this point I have made two pair 9s and 8s. I bet. Villain calls with bigger two pair. Pot : $352

-----------
I have a gut shot straight, need a 6. Small bet on the turn from villain, I call as it's cheap and may be a pop at the pot with nothing. Turn a blank, another small bet from villain. I call. River a 6. I've made a straight! Great. Villain bets $100 into pot, I re-raise him all in.....he flips over a full boat (he needed the 6 to make a boat).

Pot : $479

---------

I have a straight draw, straight flush draw and flush draw on 4th street. I move the short stack all in. He flips top pair and weak kicker. I miss my draw totally.

Pot $654

I mean how can you say he's not getting rigged?! Hand 1 is sick, 2 pair vs. 2 pair - that does not happen in real life. Only in your imaginary fake world of online "poker" where the cards aren't real.

Hand 2 - obviously rigged. Villain had what, a set, before the river? OP had a gutshot straight draw. And I gaurantee he doesn't call the river with just a gutshot so they rig it so he hits his straight. Only it's the 1 card in the deck that gives villain a better hand. Ridiculous.

Hand 3 - he had 3 draws. a flush draw, a straight draw, and a straight flush draw. It's the 3rd draw that is key, as when you have only a flush and straight draw you are an underdog (unless they make small bets like in hand 2), but when you have a flush draw, a straight draw, AND a straight flush draw, you are a favorite. I count 38 cards that could help OP and 4 that couldn't, and yet 1 of those 4 come on the river.

Tell me the odds of that and then tell me he's not being rigged.
