Not even remotely true. Are these 'major' IBanks in Vegas or Australia?
Trading is one thing - that is not investment banking. I'll agree with you that many traders may act 'unethically,' however as long as they don't break the law and their job is to generate as many $$$ as possible using firm capital, you'd really need to evaluate that standard in the proper context.
