Poker players are no different than sports or entertainment figures. They provide a clear service -- entertainment for others to complete in game of skill.

And I've worked in many businesses, like consulting to name just one, which provides a service i think is much less valuable and worthwhile than anything a poker player does.

Don't impose your own warped and misguided view on others. He has increased his income, has a clear plan for sucess, has gotten the committment of the people who matter, is clearly happier, and expects to make more money.

How exactly does is your strange morality relevant here?
