Bring a backpack that has food in it.
You can buy bottled water and use the water to blend shakes and then get a mini funnel and pour the shakes back into the bottled water bottles.
You can make protein/banana/nut etc mixes. You can drink/eat your meals very quickly every few hours.
Of course you can bring some solid food also. Cans of mixed nuts seem to work well.
