I think you should buy a replica of it. Maybe saw it in half first, then when you steal it swap the two and act like you break it.
Or you could hollow out the replica, insert a transmitter and try to frame him for cheating...I can't really think of anything funny you could stick inside of it, maybe a small dead fish?
