Corrections: You're looking weak when you check the flop so I think he may be shoving with a lot of hands. JJ is better than his range most of the time so you've got to call against an obviously bad player. You could fold if you think your opponent could valueshove in this situation with pair of queens or better because he thinks you wouldn't suspect he has a good hand if he overbet shoves.
