Yes, I hate limit. First, and foremost, I started with NL, and I absolutely DESPISE not being able to protect my hand in limit poker. I love the whole scene where I flop a straight and some guy with a middle pair catches a runner-runner flush or some other awesomely bad beat. That stuff never happens in NL unless the drawer pays through the nose.
This whole thing about not wanting to lose big money in one hand: True, but if you're a good player, you put your moiney in with the best hand, and just sit back and relax. The result does not matter because when you get your stack in with the best hand over time, you win. This is certainly true of limit, as well, but in limit you are usually having to dodge severa other people, where in NL you can get heads up quick.
Also, some of the discussion about NL fading out of the picture is just so awesomely wrong. I mean, it may not be at the height it is now, but just almost disappearing? No way.
