Also, it's a good rule of thumb to assume that when women say "like a brother":

1. You express romantic interest, she says "you are like a brother'. She is telling the truth.

2. You mention another guy to her and she unprompted says "oh, he's like a brother to me". She has had a crush on him for a long time but never thought she could have him. Or she has slept with him before and NOW they are friends. It almost never means there was truly never any interest.

I would say this is true +75% of the time.
