To all the milquetoasts:

It's easy to get lost in post-feminist America. The point is not that a woman can't defend herself in matters like these. And yes, a lot of women would get mad at their BF/whatever for making a scene or insinuating that they can't handle their business. But under the patina of Gloria Steinemness they want/need/and appreciate this while berating you for it. In the case at hand, Chad's action seems unnecessary and overkill-but who knows what VR said to him. The point is, you take up their cause.
