Default Re: GOOD NEWS ON THE FLORIDA RAKES

[ QUOTE ]
the casinos like FIXED LIMIT GAMES such as 2-4 3-6 4-8 etc cuase they know they get the MAX RAKE there and the games too hard to beat. now me i played 12 hrs a day before when i was homeless alot with a $300-1500 bankroll most of the time, and yeah i beat the game all the time. but not for more than like $25-40 a day. (about $1000 a month) spent alot of cheap rooms. but it WASNT the fixed limit games i beat it was spread limit games, such as $1-5 stud and $2-10 holdem. used to hang out in albq NM iowa and places like that willing to offer them limits. i even arrived in FL homeless and near broke with $367 in winter 2003 and ran it up to $1100 at the seminole casinos near ft lauderdale and coconut creek. but u know why i ran that bankroll up so much in such a cheap game?? it was cause i hardly ever tipped a dime, and i slept outdoors all the time and never spent any money on rooms.

i do know this though, winning in LIVE CASH GAMES much easier than winning on stars. my income online last year was only a measly $4717 for playing 12 hours a day. but considering statistics tell me 95% of the people reading this post are losing players, thats not really so bad.

Well I have to agree you with on some points and disagree with you on others.

First, as an attorney, husband and father of two, I may BE many many things, but I take issue with someone callin me a fool! So I will have to respectfully disagree with you on that point.

Second, I most definately agree with you that the spread limits are much easier to beat. Look at my prior posts where I have not only urged everyone to push for a 1/5 spread limit, but I also emailed every cardroom manager in Broward and Palm Beach Counties, including the Hard Rock and Seminole Casinos, asking for them to seriously consider this. PBKC was the only manager seriously considering it since they already have it at the 1/2 level.

Next, I respectfully disagree with you that there are no structured limit games that can be beat (except for the spread limits). The issue with these low limits is the rake. I have played 10/20 for years here in Florida on the ships, Vegas and California, and I have always made a profit.
