Wow. Super mixed feelings about this. Scott's style could work well with certain parts of the novel, especially the over-the-top operatic violence, I just hope he resists the urge to make it slick, or try to make the Kid a more prominent, likable character. I'd rather see him direct 'The Road', and leave Blood Meridian to someone deeper/scarier, like Cuaron or Von Trier or Scorsese or Coppola or Lynch...
